What’s On Tap - October 2021

Hey y’all, welcome to Fall!

Can you believe Summer’s already come & gone? It feels like it somehow flew by faster than normal, but we’ll still gladly welcome Autumn! Our team has been staying busy with continued updates in Belltown, making a trip to the other coast, & making sure we have all of our Fall fun before Winter settles in.

Friendly Mask Reminder

Proper face masks are to be worn in all communal spaces when not actively eating or drinking, regardless of vaccination status. We know it can be frustrating & we’re all definitely feeling the mask fatigue, but this is a precaution we’re doing to help protect each other & our loved ones at home. If you bring a guest into the space, please make sure they are aware that face masks are required in the communal spaces. If you or a guest need a mask, please ask a staff member at your location & they will be happy to provide one for you!

Belltown updates

Huddle rooms are officially here! Installation of the breakout rooms in Belltown is complete & holy cow- they’re outstanding! If you’re looking for a little more space than a phone booth & don’t need to book a meeting room, the huddle rooms are the perfect option. Huddle rooms in Belltown can be booked on a same-day basis! There are small dry-erase boards outside of each huddle room that can be used to reserve a time for that day after you come into the space.

After lots of anticipation, the bike cage installation has also been completed. Our cyclist members can work worry-free of their bikes knowing they’re safe (& happy) in the secure cage. Thank you for being so patient during the installation process! Does anyone else like to think that the bikes are having a little stationary party in there together?

Member lunches

Mark your calendars for a member’s appreciation lunch at your location on October 27th. Your location’s community manager might be reaching our to your community to get feedback on preferences & dietary needs that we can hopefully accommodate. Thank you all for being such lovely humans & part of our community!

GCUC Conference NYC 2021

IMG_4508.jpg

At the end of September Jamie and Sheila headed to NYC for an industry conference! The GCUC (pronounced juicy!) conference is a space where other coworking space operators and folks involved in the industry come together for discussion and idea sharing. Obviously it’s been awhile since something like this has been able to take place given the pandemic, so it was such an exciting opportunity to be able to connect with others in the coworking business, as well as explore a great city :) This year all attendees were fully vaccinated making it a safe space to come together.

Following a pretty tough year for so many, and independent coworking spaces in particular, it was great to be able to have positive and uplifting conversations with others who are just as inspired by this industry and where it’s headed as we are. In person connection is at the heart of what we do at TPC, so hopefully there will be only more chances like this for face-to-face interaction moving forward.

Nuflours’ Member Spotlight

If you haven’t checked out our most recent blog highlighting a team of our members, what are you doing?! Just kidding, but in all honesty you really should check it out. They’re a great group of people on a really neat mission & that mission happens to also be super tasty. I have a feeling you’ll be trying to find a time to checkout their brick & mortar bakery after reading more about them. Phebe said it best, cake always brings joy which we can all use more of! :)
