An exterior shot of the Tommer building in East Ballard

Ballard Bump
As promised, we’re going to be keeping y’all updated on the happenings of TPC’s newest location. Our Ballard location is going to be on the second & third floors of the Tommer building at the intersection of 51st St & 14th Ave NW. This location is within just a few blocks of both Trader Joe’s & PCC (last minute lunches & snacks heck yeah!) as more than a handful of the breweries & taprooms that keep Ballard bumpin’ on the weekends (a different brewery for every day of the work week deserves a hell yeah!) If you or a pal are interested in our Ballard location, please let us know here. Also, a big thank you to Taylor Roberts for the beautiful photos of the exterior & surrounding neighborhood!

Taylor Roberts’ Pop Up Shop
Speaking of Taylor Roberts, she’s hosting her first pop-up shop at the University Village Madewell in Seattle on February 19th from 11am-2:30pm. Taylor is an incredibly talented photographer & artist & is also a part of our Belltown community. If you’re a Belltown member, you’ve probably had a wonderful interaction or two with Taylor already! We’re looking forward to checking out her first (of many!) pop-up & hope some of y’all are able to make it out! You can find more details on the event here.

Updated Safety Plans
After recent events in the neighborhood surrounding our Tacoma location, our team has decided to create updated & more thorough safety plans to help ensure everyone’s safety in case of different emergencies. Please see the most up to date safety information here. We strongly encourage y’all to get familiar with these, as we want to everyone to be as safe as possible at all times in our spaces (including during an emergency.) If you have any questions about any of the safety protocols, please reach out to a staff member!

Membership Referral Reminder
Hey, do you have friends? Cool- me neither! If I did, though, I’d want them to join the same coworking space as me. Not only will you get to work with an extra buddy, but both of you will also get $100 off of one month! (That sounds like a win-win to me 👀)

Cross Location Drop-in Policy
If you’re a member of one location & want (or need) to spend the day at the other location, we’d be happy to have you there! Please email either seattle@thepioneercollective.com or tacoma@thepioneercollective.com to keep the on-site staff of that location in the loop. Once you arrive, we’ll get you set up with the wifi & the space if you haven’t been to that location before. Checkout your membership’s allotted number of cross location days here.

Gopher the Giggles
The sun is slowly coming back & Seattlites are starting to smile again (okay maybe not, but it’s a nice thought?) If the sun isn’t coming back fast enough for you though, fear not- Craig Blackmon, one of our Seattle members, has started doing stand-up at Towne Pub on Thursday nights. I have a feeling Craig’s got better content than a gopher pun, but I’m not going to make any promises. You’re just going to have to check it out to see for yourself!

We Want You/r Ideas!
Do you have a skill set, a topic you’ve become interested in & want to share, or an idea for a member event? We’d love to hear from you! As we’re (hopefully!) approaching a time where member events will become more frequent, we’d like to know what y’all are most interested in. If you have an idea for an event/workshop or would like to share your skills or hobby with others, please let your community manager know!
