Our Current Plan of Action in Light of COVID-19

For our most up-to-date policies, please click here.

The heath and well-being of our guests, members, and employees has been and continues to be our top priority. At this time we are making every effort available to us in order to make sure that our community feels safe and informed in the space. We acknowledge that however COVID-19 is affecting you personally or professionally, this is a difficult time for all.

What are we doing to limit exposure and spread of the virus?

  • Staff and members are encouraged to wash their hands frequently and thoroughly.

  • We have increased our regular cleaning & sanitizing procedures throughout the space. We are wiping down all surfaces and handles with anti-bacterial spray multiple times throughout the day.

  • Disinfectant wipes, spray, and hand sanitizer are also available in the space for personal use and are encouraged to be used frequently

  • We have switched to a no hand-wash policy for all dishes and have moved to paper towels in leiu of dish cloths.

  • Food items will be individually packaged including condiments and sweeteners

  • We ask that you do not come into the space if you feel at all sick. Our employees have paid sick leave and have been instructed to do the same.

All of these measures may have a small impact, but community buy-in is our strongest weapon. Everyone must do their part to follow sanitation guidelines and self-quarantine measures, should they develop symptoms.

If you learn that you or someone close to you has COVID-19, we ask that you please notify us immediately via phone at 425.442.5119. In this case we will close the space and follow measures recommended by public health officials.

Will TPC close at any point?

At this time, we do not foresee a space closure, and will continue to keep our doors open for members and guests. We are keeping close tabs on recommendations and measures set in place by local and federal government, as well as public health officials. If the situation changes, we will notify members immediately.

Should we need to move to self-service / unstaffed hours at any point, we will immediately notify members. If a member were to test positive, we can assume based on recent precedent that we would be required to close the space while professional environmental clean up teams followed CDC guidelines.

The Pioneer Collective is committed to being a space of comfort and community always but especially during these unprecedented circumstances. We will continue to do everything we can to best support our members during this time. Please bear with us as we monitor the situation and adjust operations accordingly.

We appreciate your ongoing support and for choosing The Pioneer Collective.
