Meetings at the Pioneer Collective - West Canal Yards

I've booked my meeting, now where do I go day-of?

TPC West Canal Yards is located at  1100 W Ewing St. Seattle, WA 98119. If you are renting the Chinook Room, enter through the door next to the loading dock on the west side of the 1100 building and take the elevator to the 2nd floor. If you are renting the Coho room, enter through the east door next to Traver Gallery and take the stairs to the 2nd floor. For ADA access, use the west door and elevator.

Can I show up early to set up?
Set up must be done during your allotted rental time.  If you feel you'll need more time, please book an extra half hour or hour on the front end of your reservation.

What amenities are provided for meetings?
We provide the following amenities to meeting guests at no extra charge:

  • HD television display or HD projector with HDMI or Apple Display Port connections

  • Dry-erase board with whiteboard markers and erasers

  • Video conferencing devices including webcam and speaker

  • Printing and copying at 25¢ per page

  • Hi-speed WiFi internet

  • Access to coffee, tea, filtered water in kitchen lounge

Is coffee included with bookings?

Complimentary access to coffee and tea in our kitchen lounge is included with all rentals.

I want to schedule a breakout session(s), can I use other areas in the workspace?
Breakout areas and additional conference space can be reserved subject to availability for $25-$75/hour depending on size of space needed.

Where should attendees go to make private phone calls?
If attendees need a separate room for a private call they can contact our staff at ballard@thepioneercollective.com to book a breakout room.

Can I bring in outside catering?

What’s the parking situation like?
Chinook Room and Coho Room meeting attendees can park in the West Canal Yards parking lot. View other transportation information here

How do I pay?
If you'd like to reserve dates, we will send an invoice via Quickbooks Online for the full amount. From there you can enter in your credit card information on their encrypted site. We accept all major credit cards.

What are your cancellation policies?
All payments are non-refundable. If you need to cancel, a credit equal to 50% may be applied to a *new date when The Pioneer Collective is notified 31 calendar days or more in advance. If given notice 30 calendar days or less, a credit equal to 25% may be applied to a new date (pending availability).

Does the Pioneer Collective offer lactation rooms for new mothers?
We have a lactation are for new mothers next to the kitchen lounge on the 2nd floor of the building.

Do you allow pets?
No, with the exception of service animals.

Where should I take my group for drinks / dinner after our meeting?
The surrounding neighborhoods are full of great spots for dinner and drinks. All of the restaurants below are close by.
